Editorial on obesity, which is common among DMD patients. This is partly due to the use of corticosteroids, but an increased diet intake may also play a role. Although few studies have been performed, it is suggested that intake is mainly increased in young boys. Obese children often become overweight adults highlighting the need for early intervention.
